Instructions for Requesting On-Demand Dry Ice Service

1. Submit the Request Form

  • Complete the online request here: Dry Ice Request

  • Requests must be submitted at least 24 hours prior to the desired pickup date.

  • For requests made within 24 hours, contact staff directly to confirm availability.

2. Quantity Requested

  • Indicate the number of blocks needed.

  • Note: Each dry ice block weighs approximately 2.2 lbs (1 kg).

3. Pickup Details

  • Dry ice blocks must be collected in person at Room 015, Selby Hall

  • Pickup Hours 

          Morning: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM

          Afternoon: 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM

  • Upon arrival, check in at the main RASC desk (Room 009, Selby Hall). Blocks will be stored in a Styrofoam box; each block will be wrapped.

  • Please pick up only the number of blocks you requested earlier. Do not take extra blocks.

  • Bring your own cooler for safe transportation—Styrofoam boxes are not for transport.

4. Cancellation & Charges

  • Once a request is submitted, you will be charged, regardless of whether you pick up the block.

  • Requests may be canceled only before production by contacting staff directly.
